At the request of our clients at Diamond Built Homes, Green Tangerine Media built a very simple website that showcased the neighborhoods their homes have been built in as well as give their clients the ability to fill out a Warranty Request Form for their new homes. The mission of ACTS Oregon is to reduce fatalities, injuries and the severity of injuries resulting from vehicle crashes throughout Oregon. Their vision is to motivate individuals and communities throughout Oregon to solve their traffic safety problems by providing resources, technical training and education. In addition, ACTS brings into play their Child Passenger Safety Resource Center as well as the Community Traffic Safety Connection.

Green Tangerine Media needed to find a creative, yet effective way to highlight ACTS Oregon’s three main focuses. The main home page has pathway to lead you to what you are interested in and keeps you grounded as to where you are within the navigation. We utilized Google Calendars to facilitate the Child Safety Clinic Calendar so our clients can have control over their calendar of events. There are tons of education materials, downloadable PDF’s, resources, newsletters, and an online store using PayPal to facilitate the payments of their Calling Card Promotion and membership opportunities. In 2003, Travis Fuhrer followed his passion for the outdoors and created his first stone sink in Portland, Oregon. As a local to Portland, and son of a kitchen designer, Travis Fuhrer understands that custom design is an art, and that careful attention to a vision creates a solid product, thus began LeFuhrer Design.

In his local Portland studio, Travis designs one of a kind natural stone sinks. After choosing the stone, each boulder is carved out and polished by hand revealing the inner beauty within. Travis’ stone sinks are featured in many showrooms, and luxury homes across the northwest; including Bend, The Street of Dreams and The Parade of Homes in Montana.

Green Tangerine Media created this website for LeFuhrer Design using great photography of the products. We really wanted them to stand out and be the focal piece of the site, as you can tell from the products page. Travis has a nice Frequently Asked Questions section and in time we will update the site to add more sustainable green products.

One morning our client woke up with an idea. An idea that everyone in recovery should have a place to call home. This place could exist on the Internet and be a place for people to gather and share anything they felt was appropriate and relevant to their healing or recovery process. A place that was free to everyone, and gave anyone who visited an opportunity to express themselves about chemical dependency or mental illness and find support if they needed it. Online Recovery Support is for anyone who is looking for a place in the recovering community to call home.

Green Tangerine Media knew from the start that this was a wonderful opportunity to be involved in the design, construction, and growth of something special. Online Recovery Support features (at present) 4-5 contributors to the site, talking about anything from addiction recovery, health, wellness, housing and much more. There is also a forum section where anyone can post a comment, reply to an existing one or create a new topic of discussion. There are a number of resource links and a feed to the latest addiction news. We also added Digg capability and have allowed people to post their comments on any of the articles. If you would like to contribute to this site, they would love to hear your story, what services you might have to offer, or if you have words of encouragement and support, they are more than welcome.

Online Recovery Support is still a young website, but we have seen a tremendous growth within the time it has been live. This website is a gift from our client, (www.kurtswensen.com - in which we constructed and designed) to the recovering community. It’s only going to get bigger in time and this site will be a tremendous resource to those looking for some help, seeking answers, and wanting to know how to flourish in the community as a recovering addict.

Erika Martenson of Mountain Girl Silver has been a long time client of our and this isn’t the first time we’ve mentioned her - To visit a previous posting that Green Tangerine Media has done on Mountain Girl Silver, click here.

This time around with her website, we wanted to do so much with it that we started from scratch with a brand new design and new functionality. Just in this past year, Erika’s business has grown even more and we wanted to provide her with a more flexible shopping cart and a behind the scenes look at tracking her customer orders and stats. We said goodbye to the Yahoo shopping cart that was in the old one (trust us, it was really for the best) and said hello to Zen Cart. We were able to implement in her products as before, but with the added technology for Erika to achieve a new level of exposure in her business with newsletters, sending out gift certificates, having fun contests and featured items of the month.

Not only did we start with a new design, implement a new ecommerce solution, and give her the ability to do track orders more efficiently, we also filmed, edited, compressed and put into effect a video of Erika that can be found on her About Page - just click on her photo to see the results! There are so many other things that we have planned for this website, you will just have to keep visiting it to find out what’s new!
